About Us

Hi! We're Elena and Lou and together we run the Hastings Sewing & Design Studio, based in Hastings, England. We specialise in making beautiful made to measure clothing and bridal wear. We do alterations and adjustments too.

Here'a a little more about us:

Meet Elena

Elena has 25 years of experience in bespoke tailoring and haute couture. She trained at the highest level in professional garment making for 7 years before opening up her own atelier in Ukraine. She's an absolute wizard on the sewing machine and there is nothing she cannot do!

Meet Lou

Lou has a run an independent lingerie label for over a decade - she knows her way around fabrics and design. Lou manages the day-to-day workings of the studio and it's likely she's the one you'll speak to when you first get in touch.

Together we love running our local sewing studio.Meeting new people and crafting custom garments to celebrate their uniqueness brings us great joy.
