About Me

Hello! I am Elena Moschella and I run the Hastings Sewing & Design Studio, a tailoring studio based in East Sussex, England. I specialise in made to measure clothing, bridal wear and bespoke design projects. Take a look around the website to get a feel for my latest creations.

With over 25 years of experience in bespoke tailoring and haute couture, I trained to the highest professional standard in my home country of Ukraine, where I later opened my own bespoke studio. Some years later, after moving to Hastings with my Italian husband and having our daughter, I worked alongside friends at the Hastings Sewing and Design Studio before proudly taking ownership in April 2026.
